2005 Cadillac STS

Background, features, pricing, and specifications for the 2005 Cadillac STS sedan, designed to replace the Seville.

The first Cadillac model ever produced was completed on Oct. 17, 1902, and by January of the following year, Cadillac sold out. Since then, Cadillac has been known for producing quality American vehicles. The STS was originally just an upscale trim for the Cadillac Seville, but the 2005 STS replaced the Seville altogether.

The 2005 STS sedan is a smooth ride that offers a choice of two engines; the 320 horsepower 4.6L Northstar V8, or the 225 horsepower 3.6 V6. Both of these engines come with variable valve timing. The return to rear-wheel drive allows for better driving at high-speeds, and the STS has comfortable but supportive seats, ample storage space, and a great sound system.

Notable Features:

  • Eight-way power seats
  • Six-disc CD changer
  • Rain-sensing wipers
  • Memory for driver's seat.
  • Option for all-wheel drive
  • Bose Studio Surround
  • Drive Systems
  • Magnetic Ride Control
  • Remote Start
  • Keyless Access
  • Intelli-beam
  • Cruise Control with HUD

The Cadillac STS starts at $40,995.
