2005 GMC Safari SLE and SLT

GMC calls the Safari their mid-size van for full-size families. It is based on the Chevrolet Astro van and is available in cargo-only or passenger configurations. It is available in two trim levels: the SLE or the SLT, which boasts rear or available all-wheel drive. Passenger versions have a seating capacity of up to eight and cargo-only versions have more than 170 cubic feet of storage.
All Safari's are powered by a 4.3-liter V6 engine that delivers 190-horsepower and a large towing capacity of up to 5,000lbs. There are a multitude of safety features including driver and passenger airbags, 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes for added stopping power when towing, and GM's Home Link programmable universal transmitter. 2005 models are carryovers from last year's model.
Base MSRP for the 2005 Safari SLE start at $25,170 to $27,170 for the SLT AWD.
