The CR-V-based Element is in a class all its own, with standout styling, sport utility capabilities, and economy. It's what Honda considers its first SUV crossover vehicle. The interior features inventive seating configurations with over 26-cubic feet of useful cargo capacity. Side cargo doors add to its capability and cargo convenience.
There are two trim levels available, both with 2 or 4-wheel drive: LX and EX. The only available engine is the highly efficient 2.0-liter 4-cylinder with I-VTEC producing 160-horsepower. Automobile Magazine gave it the their 2004 All-Star Small Sport-Utility award for the second consecutive year. 2005 models are carryovers from last year with no major changes.
Base MSRP for the 2005 Honda Element LX 2WD start at $17,450 to $20,925 for EX 4WD versions.
