Background information, pricing, features, and specifications for the 2005 Land Rover Range Rover and Range Rover Sport midsize SUVs.
Land Rover, a British car manufacturer, is world renown for making vehicles that can both handle rough terrain and remain as refined as any luxury car. Originally designed to handle British terrain, they are currently sold all around the world. This SUV line is now an extension of the Ford Motor Company, but has maintained its original vision.
One of the main models in the Land Rover line is the Range Rover. It's the highest model under production. The exterior of the Ranger Rover maintains the signature geometric styling of previous models. The Range Rover comes in two models, the standard Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport. While the Sport model is still considered a midsize SUV, it's more like the little brother of the Range Rover. It's not nearly as expensive, priced at $56,085, but the classic Ranger Rover is still the SUV of choice.
