The Pontiac Vibe can be called an SUV/small station wagon or a 4-door compact car; it's a versatile family car either way. The Vibe shares its platform with the Toyota Matrix and is differentiated by Pontiac's bolder styled front end and side moldings. It comes in three trim levels: the Base, GT, and AWD. Each model comes with its own engine: the Base has a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder with 140-horsepower, the GT has the same 1.8-liter but with 170-horsepower, and the AWD comes with a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder with 123-horsepower. 2005 Vibes have restyled front and rear fascias.

Base MSRP for the Base version starts at $17,690 and up to $21,015 for the AWD.
