The Grand Vitara is a mini-SUV that was introduced to the market in 1999; its styling is based on the four-door Vitara. The Grand Vitara features a towing capacity of 1,500 lbs. and has a maximum cargo space of 50.2 cubic feet. In addition, EPA fuel mileage estimates are 19 mpg in the city and 21-22 mpg on the highway.
A 2.5-liter, 165 horsepower V6 engine sends this mini-SUV into motion. Both LX and EX trims offer the choice of two- or four-wheel drive. In terms of safety, government crash tests resulted in this vehicle averaging 4.5 stars out of 5.
