The Suzuki Reno makes its first appearance in 2005. It is based on another sedan made by Suzuki-the Forenza. The price and features make this model distinct. It is only available as a five-door hatchback.

There is only one engine choice for all three trim levels-a 2.0-liter, four cylinder engine that delivers a modest 126 horsepower. In terms of transmission, the S and LX come equipped with a five-speed manual transmission, while the EX has a four-speed automatic transmission. Speed-Sensitive Power-Steering (SSPS) is standard on all trim levels of the Reno.

Base MSRP for the Reno S starts at $13,994 and goes up to $18,094 for the Reno EX.
