2006 Hummer SUV
Big things come in big packages too! Background information, features, pricing, and specifications for the 2006 Hummer SUV.
The popularity of Hummer's H1 made it possible to create its smaller kin, the H2. The H2 offers all the features and innovations expected from Hummer, but in a more 'real world' package. This SUV can haul more people while retaining H1 styling elements. It's based on Chevrolet's Tahoe and uses the corporate 6.0-liter V8 with 325-horsepower. The Vortec powerplant is capable of towing up to 6,000lbs.
The H2's capability continues in the interior where leather seating is standard for up to six passengers. There is over 85 cubic feet of cargo room when the rear seats are folded down, 40 cubic feet when up. The exterior looks more refined than the H1 with better fit and finish and tasteful chrome accents. 2006 H2s are carryovers from last year's model.
Base MSRP for a 2006 Hummer H2 SUV start at $52,980 to $53,035 for the SUT.
