2006 Mitsubishi Outlander
Background information and specifications for the 2006 Mitsubishi Outlander compact SUV LS AWD, SE AWD, and Limited AWD. Discusses both standard and optional features by trim level.
The Outlander is Mitsubishi's compact SUV based on the Lancer sedan. It was introduced in 2003 to compete in the popular compact sport utility segment. It combines Mitsubishi's 4X4 heritage in a smaller more car-like package. Not as offroad-ready as the Montero, the Outlander is capable enough in most adverse weather conditions thanks to the available full-time all-wheel drive system. A standard 2.4-liter 160-horsepower 4-cylinder engine powers the Outlander. Four trim levels are offered: LS, SE, and the top-of-the-line Limited. 2006 models are carryovers from last year's model with only a few minor updates.
Base MSRP for the LS AWD start at $18,899 and up to $25,479 for the Limited AWD.
