2006 Nissan Maxima

The Nissan Maxima made its U.S. debut in 1981. It was designed to be a sporty alternative to the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord. Now in its 6th generation, the totally redesigned 2004 model brought a larger interior and bolder styling to further seperate itself from other competitors in the saturated mid-size sedan segment. Two trim levels are available, the SE and SL.

All version are powered by the powerful 3.5-liter V6 producing 265-horsepower. Some notable features are 4-wheel independent suspension and the Sky-View glass-paneled roof. 2006 models are carryovers from last year with the exception of Nissan's advanced airbag system, available satellite radio, and advanced traction control.

Base MSRP for the 3.5 SE start at $27,750 and up to $30,000 for the 3.5 SL.
