Popular Models

Jetta:

Volkswagen's newest offering is the totally redesigned 2005 Jetta compact sedan. The Jetta is the company's best-selling car in the U.S. due in part to its unique styling and aggressive trim packages. The all-new 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine cranks out 150-horsepower and offers good fuel economy and modest performance. The 1.9-liter turbodiesel (TDI) features a new pump injector system called Pump Duse that results in cleaner emissions and quieter operations. Although the exterior is fresh and unique, it still received the highest side-impact crash rating by the IIHS and earned the best overall crash rating in its class. Volkswagen hopes the Jetta will continue to be a hot seller.

Toureg:

Volkswagen entered the SUV battle late in the game with the Touareg. This car-based SUV is one of the few that is capable in offroad situations due in part to its advanced 4XMOTION permanent four-wheel drive system. Two engines are offered, a 3.2-liter V6 with 240 horsepower or a 4.2-liter 310-horsepower V8 that can tow up to 7,700lbs. Interior appointments are luxurious with power leather seats and a Multifunction computer with Navigation. The rear seats fold 60/40 to make room for over 70-cu/ft. of cargo space. Exterior features include Bi-Xenon headlights, Keyless Access, and Electronic Parking Assistance.

Phaeton:

Volkswagen stepped into the mega-luxury, full-size sedan segment with the introduction of the Phaeton sedan. Territory occupied by Mercedes and BMW, Volkswagen is confident they will attract buyers who have outgrown their Passats. This sedan is a model of luxury with such standard features as an automatically-leveling Air Suspension system, front and rear Electronic Parking Assistance, and Double-Pane Safety Glass. This cruiser is powered by either a 4.2-liter V8 that makes 335-horspower or a 6.0-liter 420-horsepower W12 coupled to a 5-speed automatic transmission.
