The 2007 Toyota Prius Hybrid is a gasoline and electric hybrid with a few additional safety features added for the new years plus an entirely new Touring trim. The Prius has always differed from other hybrids in that the electric engine dominates this car's drivetrain. The electric motor powers the car until it reaches about 12 miles per hour and then the gasoline engine takes over. The 2007 Toyota Prius Hybrid is available in the Base and Touring trims.

The Civic Hybrid can get up to 49 miles to the gallon in city driving and 51 miles for highway driving. For the 2007 version the car now has XM Satellite radio standard when the navigation system option is purchased but is little changed from 2006.
